Evening book :-)
Well, it's 7 p.m. and I'm listening to teen and preteen boys in the kitchen rummaging through cabinets for food. :-) I guess that's normal :-) Scott has taken A to see a friend and J and L are in the family room watching our new streaming device, I love that thing, very worth the trouble of installing it a couple weeks ago.
Today was spent getting A ready for her big trip to DC tomorrow for the March for Life., This is her first time in DC so we are really excited for her. She will spend all day Monday in Gettysburg (I'm so jealous) and then Tuesday and Wed. in DC. The march is Wednesday and then bus ride home.
In school, this past week was our first week back after break, we had big snow cold front move in around Jan. 4 and all schools around here out for the following week, so we had an extra week of break , yeaaa. (We got alot done including building some new shelves in the family room and getting the streamer up and running.) Yea no more trips to video store.
So in school - working on math again, (Sam retook entrance test)
Latin, actually did a lesson :-)
History, starting Civil War :-)
J reading Caddie Woodlawn and about St. Cecilia
T reading a Stonewall Jackson book and St. Paul
me reading to L and T, Raggedy Ann and Andy and Danny Champion of the World
In the kitchen, not much new, restocking cinnamon rolls, lots of soup, chili
On the needles, I'm in love with new pattern for pilot cap, made two for a new baby, and one for L, working on two for nephews
Looking forward to , Valentine's Day :-)
Other things, boys started wrestling this week and J started vb in earnest. J also auditioned for Midsummer Night's Dream, she has been cast in part as Egeus Hermia's father :-) they re low on boys
Also catching up on Downton Abbey (on streamer) it is a beautifully filmed show
Have started, trying to pray morning prayer in liturgy of the hours, I do like it, can't wait to get back to Latin Mass
That's all, bye bye
