Monday Musings

Right now, I'm listening to Lucy watch Robin Hood on the ) front tv, while Gracie takes her nap.

This weekend, was very, very busy. On Friday night, Josie had a late volley ball game and Thomas had a practice (Sam had his city tournament on Thursday and Friday night) Then all day Saturday was spent at Thomas' city tournament at Ritter High School. Actually, Scott took Thomas and Luke Pittman early and then I joined them with the Abbey and babies later. Josie was with my mom and Sam had ridden out earlier with my Dad. It was a lot of fun to watch Thomas in the city (Sam too) Thomas had won the two tourney prior (Jim Troy and McClellan) so he was being touted to win a 'triple crown " :-)) He was seeded first out of 16 in his 65 and under weight class. He ended up coming in second overall. Very fun. Then he had all stars Sunday (won one and lost two) and Josie had second tourney game (lost) so now we're done with winter sport 2012 :-) always with mixed feelings. While the season is underway, I'm rushing to get everybody everywhere, and then when it's over, I miss it. It's fun. Movies we watched this weekend, The Way on Friday night and Despicable Me on Sunday night.

Some high points, went to Red Lobster with my parents and Josie Friday night. Then Scott and I had evening just with babies on Sat. night. We ordered Chinese Food and rented Ides of March, very bad, turned it off mid way. Oh and I got to Mass alone Sunday night, I love my family, but it was refreshing.
,
Some plans for this week, rest after two straight months of wrestling and volleyball (and the occasional tooth ache and trip to er :-)

If I can find time for myself, more rest :-))) need to finish Scott's hat, my first hat

I am grateful for, for our health, our shelter, each other

Some prayer intentions, that we can get to work on our projects, for a call on the house, I'm ready for some " Hen Franlkins :-)

Something that makes me smile, 'hen Franklins :-)))) Thomas' shiner :-))) Abbey's marked off calender, Gracie's 'I did it,' and 'Mama', Josie's hamsters and 'hello mate," and Lucy's easy going nature :-)

I'm reading a book on Edmund Campion. I'm enjoying it very much.
